Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

• All bookings are managed through our secure online system.
   

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the tour start time (HST) will receive a full refund.

• No refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows.

• Tours may be rescheduled or canceled by Volcano Private Treks due to unsafe conditions, volcanic activity, or trail closures. In such cases, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
   

Tour Conditions

• Tours operate rain or shine.

• Children must be at least 5 years old; all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• Guests must be able to hike over uneven and sometimes steep terrain.

• The Steam Vents & Crater Rim hike is wheelchair accessible with prior approval. Please contact us before booking to discuss suitability.

• Lava viewing is not guaranteed. Eruptions and natural activity are unpredictable.

• Air quality may be affected by volcanic emissions. Guests with respiratory or other medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating.

• Gratuity for guides is not included in the tour price but is appreciated.

• Park entry fees, meals, and transportation are not included in the tour price.
   

Liability & Risk

• All participants must sign a Visitor Acknowledgment of Risk form prior to the start of the hike.

• Volcano Private Treks is not responsible for injury, illness, or loss of personal belongings during the tour.
